I'm experimenting with other types of content and the feedback that I've gotten from you guys has been great. However, I know most people aren't going to watch and that's fine. If you haven't watched something like my first TTT video, at least give that a shot, because I think it turned out well and the next one is even better. I understand let's plays aren't for everyone though, especially Final Fantasy X, which is a completely different genre than what most are used to on this channel. The next Datto Plays will likely be on something a little more recent.
The next few weeks from me are gonna be light in terms of Destiny videos, I don't think there's any way I'm gonna be able to put up stuff 5 days a week still. I want to get back into some Mythbuster action again, make a few more of those, more challenge modes, more weird stuff, but it's tough, just tough. This has been one of the worst drought periods in Destiny, but somehow we manage to get through it. This time around... it's brutal. I'd like to make up for it in streams, so if you see more streams, well, streaming right now is a bit easier than making videos. I can help people more directly and just generally practice being a better streamer. We'll see.
The Division beta is out in 2 weeks, so I'll be experimenting with some Destiny style content with the Division and hopefully that will help the drought period. The game releases sometime early March, so I'll probably devote a week or two to Division only content and I'll see if the Division will have a place on the channel. I'll make what the people want me to make and if people want me to place a higher priority on Division for a bit, let's do it.
Sorry to be all "woe is me" in this update.. No one really sees the work side of Youtube until you actually live it and it is a TON of work to produce good content multiple times per week. Script writing, editing, it can be a lot. So, I hope you guys understand my plight a little bit. I want to make Destiny content, I'm just running out of things to say. Until next week.
Xur returns to Destiny once again, and unfortunately it looks like this week’s offering is slim pickings.
While the armour on offer is pretty decent, there is no specific weapon on sale, with only a primary weapon Engram on offer for those looking to beef up their arsenals.
With no sign of any new content on the horizon from Bungie, Guardians will have to continue plying their trade in what’s been on offer since the launch of The Taken King, hopefully with some fresh new armour and weapons each time Xur appears.
If you do see anything in the list you want to buy, head to the Reef to find the Agent of the Nine.
Below is a complete list of Xur’s inventory this weekend:
Ruin Wings - Titan Gauntlets - 29 Intellect, 27 Discipline - 13 Strange Coins
Celestial Nighthawk - Hunter Helmet - 57 Intellect - 13 Strange Coins
The Impossible Machines - Warlock Gauntlets - 28 Discipline, 30 Strength - 13 Strange Coins Legacy Primary Weapon Engram - 31 Strange Coins
Exotic Helmet Engram - 19 Strange Coins
Three of Coins - 7 Strange Coins
Glass Needle - 3 Strange Coins
Remeber Xur sleeks off to wherever he resides in the early hours of Sunday, so make sure you find him before he leaves.
