The first full trailer of Vice Ganda's entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival, "Gandarrappido: The Revenger Squad," a comedy flick about a mishmash group of superheroes out to protect the world, was released on Thursday.
As the clip shows, Vice Ganda plays a gay superhero who lives a normal life away from bashing villains after losing his memory. He was forced to remember his past, however, after a boy he cares for deeply, Chino (Daniel Padilla), a speedster hero, finds himself in danger. The video also introduces Pia Wurtzbach's character.
The movie, directed by Joyce Bernal, will debut on December 25, the same for all of the other entries of the annual film festival.
It is Vice Ganda's follow-up to "The Super Parental Guardians," which holds the title of the highest grossing Filipino film of all time.
