Fantasy Football

Fantasy Football. Sometimes because of matchups you have to roll out less than ideal lineups, especially when your players are nicked up. That’s the nature of the beast. Sometimes you need a fantasy gem to be successful. Here are some of the under the radar players that could possibly pull out a win for you.

Kerry Collins, QB, Tennessee Titans.
I know he’s not the ideal quarterback to use during the fantasy playoffs, and certainly not one anybody would have guessed at the start of the season. He does have factors working into his favor though. He’s coming off a 244 yard, three touchdown game against the Colts, Kenny Britt is finally healthy and he’s facing the league’s worst pass defense both in terms of yards allowed per game (279.9) and passing touchdowns allowed (29). Maybe we’ll even have a Randy Moss sighting.

Tashard Choice, RB, Dallas Cowboys
.
Choice came back to Earth against the Eagles with 33 total yards. Perhaps it was a mixture of facing the Eagles 11th ranked run defense (103.5 yards allowed per game) and being starstruck in the presence of Michael Vick. Whatever the case, I expect him to bounce back against the 28th ranked Redskins run defense (134.4). The Skins are allowing 4.9 yards per carry.
